October Festivities

I need a play catch-up because it has been busy the last few weeks! So last weekend, we started our adventures out with a trip to Costco because there was NO food in the house. Then Saturday, we had our friends, Dan and Elizabeth, over for ribs and watched the BYU vs Notre Dame football game. The game didn't go so well, but the ribs were amazing!

Bryce is a grill master and is perfecting his art of meats. It was so funny because while we were at Costco getting the ribs, Bryce kept saying that he wasn't sure what rub he wanted to do. After the third time of saying it, I told him whatever he decides to do just make sure it uses spices we already have.  So we also rented the movie Pirates! Band of Misfits and totally enjoyed the cute humor and story line.

Then on Wednesday, we had our ward Halloween party. Bryce was so looking forward to seeing all the kids dressed up and doing trunk or treat, but he had class that evening. I dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, which included a red scarf and a basket but nothing too special. It is such a bummer to go alone to ward activities. Luckily, the Bartholomew's let me tag along with them and even let me take Lexi around to trunk or treat!
Such a cute S'more family!
Our little neighbor girls were adorable princesses!

On Friday night, we did a temple session and then went to our friend's John going away party. It was a lot of fun to see friends and we reminisced about how much had changed in the last year!
