Anniversary Celebrations

October 9th means two things:

Bryce and I have been married for 4 months!
And 1 year since our first kiss!

And with that we had to celebrate the happy day. I spent all day at work thinking of ideas of ways to make it special. What could I do to celebrate 4 months and 1 year????

Well, the inspiration came during lunch and I ran back to work to get moving on the plan. I decided I would do things that come in 4's. Suits in the decks of cards, the cardinal directions, the four elements, but the real winner was the 4 seasons - it works for both! So I decided I would make a card for Bryce using the four seasons. I was hoping to find some good stuff online, but it was pretty lacking. After work, I ran to the craft store and despite the lacking selection found 4 fun stickers that were relatively the same size and that represented each season!

Then I decided to make dinner be centered around the four elements - water, air, fire, earth.

Water - drink | Fire - candles | Earth - dirt dessert | Air - napkins made into fans to cool the food

After dinner, I had Bryce listen to four songs that made me think of the day one year ago.
1. This Kiss - Faith Hill
2. Just a Kiss - Lady Antebellum
3. When You Say Nothing at All - Alison Krauss
4. Cross My Heart - George Strait

It was a very fun night with Bryce and so happy to be married to him!
