We got a new car! A Mazda CX-5 that will be perfect for our growing family.

It was sad to say goodbye to my BMW because it is a beautiful car that was so fun to drive.

Farewell bimmer! You were a good car to me and the first car I have ever owned. Lots of memories together!

Unfortunately, it had issues that caused a lot of stress and cost a lot of money. The worst currently was no working air-conditioning so summer driving was pretty unpleasant especially since we have had a heat wave the last few weeks.

We have been eyeing the CX-5 for awhile, but with the plan to get something in three to five years. However, the stars aligned and with baby coming it worked out to get it now. Of course, it required lots of research, sleepless nights, and wavering on whether it was a good decision. This was mostly on my part. Bryce was supportive and sleeping just fine!

So I contacted a dealership that did everything through emails and text making it super easy! When the numbers came together, we decided to go to the dealership on Saturday and test drive and compare the Mazda CX-5 and the Honda CR-V. It all worked out and a few days later we decided to pull the trigger.

Of course, the blue one we wanted had sold over the weekend, but they were able to find another one in the area. So Tuesday evening we went back to the dealership and negotiated a few things and signed all the paperwork and drove the BMW one last time and drove home in a new CX-5! Bryce would probably add that I didn't drive over 45 mph or get out of the far right lane. Ha!
