We Love Summer Fun!

We had quite the week! Monday we got tickets to go to Utah in August to see the twins. Yippee! Tuesday we got Bahn Mi sandwiches from Luc Lac for dinner and then went to Cinatopia and saw Ant-Man. Pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it!
Side note: during the trailers the bass was really loud and the baby gave me two strong kicks. Sorry baby!

Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment and got to hear little guy's heart beat. Everything went well and right where I need to be. That evening I had visiting teaching. Thursday we babysat our friend's little girl while they went to the temple. She joined us for dinner and was very excited about using a box as a booster chair. One day we will have baby stuff like a high chair. Then we went to the park and ran around for awhile. After we came home and read stories and played. It was fun but very exhausting.

With such a busy week, I was so excited for the weekend to relax. Friday afternoon, I called Allie to come swimming with me. We enjoyed the water and sun for awhile. Then Bryce got home and we went out to dinner at Fire On the Mountain. It was delicious especially since I am craving meat again. After dinner I was feeling a sweet treat, but something different than our usual. Bryce suggested The Pacific Pie Company and it was perfect. He got the coconut cream pie, which he loved especially since he is really liking coconut lately. I got the peach pie and it was perfect because I was craving peach cobbler early in honor of Pioneer Day!

Saturday Bryce woke up early and played basketball while I slept in. It was cold and rainy, a welcomed change after the heat wave. I got cleaning and then when Bryce got home, I went with him to run a few errands before his hair cut appointment. I finished organizing things under our bed and was able to give baby the tiniest of spaces in the closet! I went to the gym later that afternoon and finally showered around 6PM. For dinner, we wanted to try something new so I suggest getting lobster rolls at a food cart I heard about at work. It was quite the drive out to Cartlandia, but it was worth it!!!! Holy smokes, amazing!
We also tried a taco from a Mexican cart that was good, but no La Plaza. Then got Voodoo Doughnuts since they had a cart right there. On our way home, we stopped at the post office and shipped off 5 packages to friends and family. Christmas in July I guess!
Sunday we got up early and while Bryce picked blackberries, I made waffles. It was a tasty breakfast. After I FaceTimed with Heidi in honor of her birthday countdown. It was fun to catch up and get a tour of her new place! After I had to hurry and get ready for church and thankfully it wasn't too hot so I could hurry. Church was good. We then came home and I helped Melanie with her computer. It was quite the project trying to figure out why it wouldn't work. Around 6:30PM, we went to the Merrill's for dessert night. They recently moved to a new place and I was so excited to see it! The treats and company were great, too! We then got home and I worked on the computer more. Now to start another week!
