Superbowl Weekend

We live for our weekends! Friday after work, we went out to dinner and got waffles. We were starving and so got a dessert one along with our favorite Three B's (bacon, brie, and basil)!
Saturday we got up, packed and headed up to Washington. It was pretty sunny in Lake Oswego, but when we got to north Portland there was fog and we didn't see the sun the rest of the weekend. However, we didn't hit any rain on our drive up so we called ourselves lucky. We got to Austin and Rachael's around noon. Bryce's mom was visiting so it was fun to see her. We headed to lunch pretty soon after arriving and got pizza at Mod Pizza. It a fun place where you can personalized the toppings on your pizzas. We then made a quick stop at the store and came home for afternoon naps. Later that afternoon, Rachael made donuts, which were fantastic. I probably ate a few two many because I wasn't that hungry when we ate dinner. After we watched The Maze Runner, which kept me interested until the end when the plot got lame. This was one series I haven't read and so didn't know what was going to happen, but it sure was disappointing! Guess I won't have to read the books now.

Sunday we slept in and had a relaxing morning since Austin and Rachael don't have church until 1PM. We had fun planning with Vivian and Henry.
This girl is 2 going on 13 and she loves her accessories!

Love how Vivian is holding Henry's hand, but Henry looks a little worried. HAHA!

Then after church we went to Grandma Baker's house for a Superbowl party. We had so much delicious food I had to pace myself. After halftime, we headed home so we wouldn't get home too late. The roads were clear since everyone was still watching the game we made great timing. We did follow the game on my phone and good thing we did. It was exciting down to the last few seconds.
