Relaxation & Retreat

Friday I was downtown for a work meeting, which worked out well because Bryce and I were able to meet up for dinner before he went to his work retreat for the weekend. We grabbed dinner at Picnic House, which was great! We started with a beet salad as we like to do when that it's an option on the menu. Then Bryce got fish and I got pork. Both our meals were very tasty. We then shared two donuts from Voodoo before Bryce headed out.

The firm had rented a cabin by Mt. Hood for the associates. Since there was no snow up there, they went hiking instead of snowshoeing and the weather was very nice. Bryce enjoyed it and it is good to build work relationships.

Friday after dinner I went home and didn't have much planned for my weekend alone so I got on Netflix and started watching Once Upon A Time. I got through three episodes before getting hooked and then went to bed at a semi-reasonable time. 

Saturday, I got up with little motivation to do anything productive. I tried to do some cleaning, but that didn't last long so I watched another episode of Once Upon A Time. I did organize a few things in the bathroom. I discovered that over the years, I have collected a lot of products from hotels. I think the tiny bottles were just too tempting because the actual product isn't that great. I felt good about clearing it out.

Then I went to the gym and worked out for awhile before coming home to stretch. While stretching I watched another episode of Once Upon A Time. I finally got ready for the day around 3PM and decided to run a few errands before things closed. I dropped off the dry cleaning and stopped by the bank, but that was about it. I was headed towards Bridgeport, but half way there I decided I didn't feel like shopping. I stopped by this weird Wal-Mart market store to see if I wanted anything for dinner from there, but I didn't. I decided I wanted to get nachos from Senor Taco and watch more episodes of Once Upon A Time.

I went to bed later than I should have, but got up and talked to Heidi catching up on our lives. Bryce  then got home around 11AM and we went to church.
