Striking Gold & Perfect Weather

It was so nice to have Monday off, but it sure was a busy 4 day week. Tuesday was busy at work so in the evening Bryce and I went to Costco for dinner and groceries. Wednesday we went out to dinner with the Clayton's. They were wanting spicy foods to get labor started so we went to Fire on the Mountain for wings! I am happy to help out a pregnant lady. Thursday I joined the Nike gym and was able to work out. Friday work was busy still, but that evening I had fun getting together with coworkers from my old team. We had Chinese take-out and got to see Tristen's new apartment. She is great at decorating and made me want to change things up at my place. After we went and got frozen yogurt which was just down the street. It was right by a Ross so I stopped by to see if they had any journals. Unfortunately, they did not, but I did find some treasures. First, I found a new purse! It was seriously exactly what I wanted - something neutral colored, zips closed, leather, good compartments that weren't too big, and decent price. So good bye to the old silver and in with the new gold!
I also found new pillows! It will be perfect for mixing things up. I got home before Bryce was back from his soccer game so I setup the pillows. Love them!
Saturday was sunny and beautiful! Sadly though Bryce didn't get to enjoy it much because he had to go into work. Bryce played basketball and then had to go into work. With the day pretty much to myself, I decided to work out and while there ran into Wendy at the gym. We ended up talking for an hour or so while still getting a little stretching in. I then got some boxes from Melanie to send off a few packages. I had lots of Nike stuff for my brother and earrings to send to my mom for Christmas. I then decided to send a package to my cousin, Heather since I had some Nike stuff that totally reminded me of her! I was pretty proud of myself for getting everything to fix in the boxes. I ran over to the post office and shipped them off very excited that everything would be delivered in a few days. I decided to not tell Heather or mom that packages were coming so it would be a surprise!

That evening, Bryce and I went to BBQ for dinner and then had Stake Conference. The topic was Councils which at first I thought was weird, but there were some amazing talks so good job!

Sunday we got up and went to Stake Conference. I was ready before Bryce, which never happens, so go me and I am documenting the moment. We were early, but still had to sit in the back. It was very hard to hear the speakers so some of the talks were better just because they spoke loud enough to hear. After we came home and enjoyed a Sunday nap. Then Bryce had home teaching so I called Landon and Shelley. We then ate some dinner and called our parents. It was a good relaxing day.
