Busy, Busy, Busy

Last week was crazy! I was hoping that January was going to calm down after December, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The week started with Monday being crazy because I decided to try out the Nike gym. I went during lunch and it just took longer than I thought it would. I got back to my desk at 1:45PM when I realized I had a 2PM meeting in downtown Portland. I grabbed my stuff and rushed downtown arriving right before everything started. Then I had to rush home for the National Championship game. We watched it with the Merrill's which was fun even though Oregon lost. Then Tuesday I went to my friend's baby shower after work. I helped by using my Cricut to make a sign.
I was also pretty excited about my gift, baby Lebron shoes! Nike has made gift giving so much easier and for me it is wonderful because it is so hard for me to think of good present ideas.

Wednesday slowed down so I was able to work out at the Nike gym again. It was good, but ended up getting home around 7PM. By Thursday things got crazy again because I was helping with a big Nike sample sale. I didn't get home until 7PM and I was so sore. However, I scored some awesome product for helping out that I am so excited to send to people!

Friday, I got up at 5:45AM and got to work at 7AM. We had the sample sale all day long so it was lots of running around. I had to take care of some work stuff too so I ended up staying until 5PM. I got home and was just too tired to do much. Bryce picked up pizza for dinner and we watched a movie called Departures. It was amazing! I was planning on sleeping through it, but it was too good. The music was beautiful, the story was touching, and the acting was good. Watch it and then I want to discuss!

Saturday, I slept in until 9AM which was later than I planned, but it felt good. It was very rainy all day so I cleaned mostly. The bathroom got lots of attention. I finally got it to my kissable level clean (side note - when I was little, I came up with a cleaning system where things were not properly cleaned unless I was willing to kiss it. I did a lot of scrubbing with a toothbrush to get to that level. Am I the only one who uses this system?). I also used my own cleaning solution made of vinegar, dish soap, and water. It really makes things sparkle! That evening we went out to dinner with the Judd's to LucLac. They hadn't been there before and we were excited to share the yummy experience with them. We then got some Voodoo donuts and hung out at their house for the rest of the evening.

Sunday we got ready and got home taught before church. We went to church and enjoy it. After we came home and ate leftovers from LucLac. Then we relaxed and called family.

Then Monday was MLK day and I had it off, but Bryce didn't. Bryce headed off to work like normal, but I slept in until 7:30AM. I then got up and went to the gym. After a pretty good work out, I got ready and cleaned up around the apartment. I then met Bryce downtown for lunch. We went to Tom's First Avenue Bento, which is Bryce's favorite lunch place downtown, but it has crazy hours (11AM to 4PM) so it took forever to get there.

It was very good and I loved the sauces! After I ran some errands in the beautiful sunshine. I then got home and waited for Bryce. It was a good day off!
