Progress and Pumpkins

This past weekend was suppose to start the "slow down and relax" time before baby comes, but it ended up being another busy weekend. Friday after work, Bryce and I got dinner at Luc Lac before heading to our friends who live up in Camas. It was fun and we watched the BYU football game with them and talked babies. We then got home late and went straight to bed because we were so tired. However, I didn't sleep very well because it is so hard to be comfortable on my side for very long.

Saturday we got up and Bryce got his hair cut and I got ready. We had a maternity class at the hospital at 10 so had to keep moving. The class was helpful to learn the logistics about what will happen when we go to the hospital for delivery. It was fun too because my coworker and his wife happened to be in our class! After Bryce and I went to the pumpkin patch.
We picked out some pumpkins and then got donuts and hot chocolate. Luckily the rainy forecast didn't happen and we got to enjoy a nice fall day. We then came home and Bryce got ready for a hike with the scouts. I took a nap and then dropped him off. I then came home and made excellent progress on cleaning and getting stuff put away. So nice to have our apartment back to a level of normal. I also decorated for Halloween!
 Love my mantle!!
Got to use Bryce's skull from last year as decorations this year!!

Later that afternoon, I picked up Bryce from downtown when he was done with the hike and then I had a girl's night out with friends. We went to a hamburger place downtown called Tilt. It was very tasty. We then got Salt & Straw, which totally hit the spot.

Saturday night I really didn't sleep well and woke up so tired, but luckily, we only had church. I didn't have to teach primary either because we were practicing for the primary program so it worked out well. After I was able to take a really good nap and felt much better. We skyped with Landon and Shelley and enjoyed all the twins new tricks! They are getting so big and I just want to squeeze them. It makes me so excited that we will have our little guy soon! We then talked to our neighbor for awhile and got ready to start another week!

  1. You two are so busy. I always read these posts and think that your saturday must be almost over and then it's only halfway through the day!
