Happy Easter

Easter weekend was good, but busy! Friday night we went out to dinner and watched a movie like normal. Saturday we got up and cleaned the house. Then we went over to our friends' to help them move, even though we are sad they are leaving us. After packing, we met up with Adam for dinner. We went to our new favorite Thai place and ordered the same exact dishes as last time, which were just as amazing the second time. After dinner, we rushed over to the movies to see The Muppet movie with the Whitings. It was a hilarious movie!

Then Bryce had fun holding Grace, and Jason helped Bryce understand how the "My Breast Friend" pillow works. It was hilarious! We then ran to the store to get stuff for Easter, but almost all the good candy was gone!

Easter Sunday we went to church and my primary lesson went surprisingly well. I had pictures of the Easter story and each kid colored a paper egg with a scripture reference on it. I read the scriptures telling the different parts of the Easter story. Then each kid had to match their egg to the correct picture when I read their scripture. Basically, an advanced matching game, but they liked it! I also made little treat bags with peeps.

After church, we came home and I started dinner. We had a simplified version of a ham dinner that was rather disappointing. I really wanted mashed potatoes and ham gravy! The table at least looks pretty and Bryce was excited to eat.

After dinner and cleaning up, we went and helped our friends finish moving. They still had some painting and last few big items to get into the truck so we helped out. We then finished the night off with some lemon meringue pie!
