Conference Weekend

It is hard to believe it is already April and time for another General Conference. For the weekend, we went up to Washington to be with family. Bryce's parents came up too so we had fun. We got to Austin and Rachael's place around 9:30PM Friday night and enjoyed a quick chat before Austin left to pick up Gary and Cindy at the airport. Then Saturday morning, we woke up and had donuts from Black Diamond bakery. The maple old-fashioned one totally hit the spot for me. Then Vivian woke up and she was funny as she saw us all there. She warmed up quickly.

Then Conference was amazing. I think Saturday morning was my favorite because there were so many good talks. In between the morning and afternoon sessions, we went to lunch at Black Diamond and ate way too much. We got back in time for the last half the afternoon session. During Priesthood session, we left Vivian with the guys and went shopping. Rachael and I wanted Cindy's help on what to wear for Greg's wedding. Rachael ended up finding a cute outfit complete with shoes that night, and I got some great inspiration. Then that night we ate a yummy spaghetti dinner with sourdough bread.

Sunday, we watched the morning session at Austin & Rachael's and then went over to Bryce's Grandma's for lunch and the afternoon session. So much good food especially the pulled pork and creme brulee!

And after all the physical and spiritual feasting, we headed home!
