We celebrated Rhys' big ONE year birthday on Saturday! We did a fun Brown Bear, Brown Bear theme since he loves that book so much. I found lots of ideas on Pinterest and got him the cutest shirt from Etsy!
The balloons were a big hit and he ran around with them all tangled up like this for awhile!
I made the banners from fabric using plaids, gray, blue, green, red, and yellow. I was quite pleased with how they turned out! I plan to use them in his room that I still haven't decorated. Oops!
The food table was fun and simple! My friend helped me arrange it with the books.
For treats, I went with ideas from the book -- chocolate teddy grahams, green gummy frogs, gold fish crackers!
I saw the "1" made out of pictures idea on Pinterest. My sister was the mastermind behind actually putting the pictures together to make it happen. It ended up being even cooler than the Pinterest one!!
Then I made a fun little birthday banner.
His big present was a tent! I got the idea from my mom since she has one at her house. He loves playing in it and it keeps his toys pretty well contained.
The party started with opening presents. I love him hugging Remy!
Next, Rhys ate cake, but wasn't so sure about the frosting.
We sure love this sweet little boy and all his excitement! Happy Birthday big boy!
