Two Birthdays & A Blessing

This past weekend was filled with lots of family, fun, and sun! Friday evening we went to our favorite Indian restaurant for dinner. We filled up on delicious buttery chicken and naan. After we went to Salt & Straw for a wonderful treat. They had Halloween inspired flavors which were hit-or-miss on actually being a good flavor. The Essence of Ghost and Witches Brew Potion were definitely misses. The Chocolate Graveyard, Dracula Blood Pudding, and Candy Corn were good though. We came home very full and happy, and very ready for bed.

Saturday we woke up and got ready to go to Washington. Luckily, the weather was actually pretty sunny and we didn't hit that much traffic. We arrived at Austin and Rachael's around 12:30. It was so fun to Bryce's parents and sister there too. We played with the children and enjoyed some Greek food for lunch. We then got ready for Vivian and Kenzie's birthday party. I did my part and helped with the chocolate fondue! The birthday party was so fun and we lots of good food. Here Kenze and Vivian opening presents, but Vivian wasn't into it too much. Maybe next year!

After eating lots of yummy food, we watched the BYU football game that sadly didn't end with a win.

Sunday was an early morning. We got ready and went to church for the blessing. Henry was good and quiet during it. After church, we took some pictures since everyone was dressed up. Of course, my eyes can barely open because they are tired!
Also, the weather was just amazing especially with the beautiful fall colors. I appreciated Washington giving us some sunny warm weather in October!
We then ate lots of party leftovers and enjoyed the day of rest which included a nap. Bryce and I left around 4PM to go back home. The drove home went quickly and we were able to get ready for another week of work.
