No Labor and All Play Weekend

With the approach of Labor Day, I wanted to celebrate the long weekend and end of summer with a bang!  But we had a hard time deciding on what to do. There was the coast, parties with friends, family in Washington, camping, and more. Finally, we worked out a plan that included a bunch of things and it was awesome. Friday, I got off work at noon to take advantage of the last week of summer hours. I came home and grabbed lunch before heading to the dentist. After I did a little shopping and then came home. Bryce was home early from work, too so we relaxed until 6PM. We headed over to the park for a root beer float party. We had fun seeing friends and enjoying a treat. After we went to the Moses' to watch the BYU game. Love that football season is back!

Saturday we got up and cleaned the apartment. I also worked out at the gym for a little bit. We finally hit the road around 1:30PM stopping at Chipotle for lunch. (Sorry to say, but I am not a fan of Chipotle. I try to be, but the food is so bland and two bucks for guacamole seems crazy!) Anyways, the drive up was long because we had bad weather, traffic, and accidents. I used the time to call my mom and sister so at least that was positive. We finally made it to Seattle around 5:30. We met up with Wes and Anna for dinner We grabbed hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes. We then watched the Oregon football game. Since they are both from Lake Oswego, we have fun chatting!

Sunday was relaxing and restful. We slept in, had a long breakfast, and played with the kids. Henry is a good baby and Vivian is talking a lot.
We went to church in the afternoon and then after had snack and nap time. That evening Rachael spoiled us and made pumpkin waffles! Plus, we had all the fixings.  I was in HEAVEN. After dinner we tried to watch a movie, but I pretty much slept through it. I didn't think I was that tired, but maybe because I ate so much for dinner!

Monday we got up and played more with Vivian and Henry. Then we headed to Aunt Allyson's at 10AM. I was nervous that the weather wouldn't be good since it was raining Saturday and cooler Sunday, but we hit it just right!
Bryce catching some air!
I'm up, which is the most important thing!
Pretty awesome!
We got off the water around 4:30PM so happy! We love having family close that we can visit!
