Legends of the Fall

I think I was looking forward to the weekend starting on Tuesday maybe even Monday. I am training a new girl at work and there is so much to work to get done. Then on Thursday I got to work early so my windshield wipers could be fixed, but in my haste I left my laptop at home. I tried to share a computer with the new girl, but by 11:15 I decided I would just go home and get my laptop. Friday finally came and it was slow because the system as getting upgraded. I also got lots of clothing that they were selling pretty cheap!

Then after we got home from work, we headed to Portland for some good food. We decided on Piazza Italia and we got there right before the rush. We got a table outside because it was so nice and then we got amazing food. We got Gino's Favorite - Linguine pasta with stirred egg, prosciutto, onion, Parmesan, and black pepper - and one of their specials - Linguine pasta with salmon, shrimp, and mussels with a spicy tomato sauce. So good! Their bed is also amazing and we ate two baskets. We then went to Salt & Straw and got Cinnamon Snickerdoodle ice cream in waffle cones!

 Saturday we took advantage of the wonderful fall weather and went hiking in the Gorge. We did an easier hike that started at Horsetail Falls and then to Ponytail Falls and up to Middle Oneonta Falls. Surprisingly, the Gorge was still pretty green, but we found some good leaves and enjoyed the crisp fall air.

After our hike, we came home and ate our leftover Italian food. Then we walked around our neighbor so I could take more pictures of fall colors.

 We then went to Fire On The Mountain for dinner and enjoyed yummy spicy peanut and medium sauce wings along with chips and queso. After we then good voodoo doughnuts because why not add more fried goodness to the evening. After we went to our friends to watch the BYU Football game. And what a game it was! It was quite intense until the very end. So glad we got the W!
