Bryce and I both like crab and shrimp, but we had never before tried lobster! Well for Christmas, my sister and her husband gave us a gift certificate and one of the restaurant options was Red Lobster. My dream of eating lobster would finally come true!
So last Friday night, we went to Red Lobster and to our surprise and good fortune we found that it was lobster fest! We got the Lobster Lover's Dream...even the name is perfect!
It included a warm-water rock lobster tail (Bryce's favorite) and a cold-water Maine lobster tail (Brittany's favorite) paired with shrimp and langostino (a crawfish-sized lobster) pasta in a creamy garlic Alfredo sauce. Plus, the buttery goodness to dip it all in and we left quite happy. After dinner, we then went to the mall and found some great sales so Bryce was able to get some new pants and jeans.
Then Saturday was relaxing with waffles for breakfast, a good workout, and time on the phone. That evening, Bryce and I headed to Portland to see the Timbers soccer game. We got great tickets from one of my co-workers. It was a little a cold, but a little hot cocoa fixed that and there was no rain!
After the game, we went to Little Big Burger on 23rd and got burgers and fries. They have this really awesome ketchup that is spicy!
Also, look how cool my Valentine's roses are aging! I love how they have getting a purple tint.
We will all be glad to hear that Bryce has purchased a wardrobe item that was not a jacket or a sweater.
