So my birthday became a two day affair! Friday, I came home from work and Bryce had tulips, a present (a new straightener), and a card waiting for me. Bryce and I then went out to dinner at Screen Door. I got friend chicken with mashed potatoes. Bryce got catfish, jambalaya, and potatoes. So good. We then hung out with our friend, John, who was in town for the weekend. The conversation was pretty much about dating from the guy's perspective, but all I can say is I am so glad I am married to Bryce! He did awesome and did things so right. Bless him!
Saturday morning, I slept in and then Bryce made me breakfast. Next, I had to take care of some bills which required me to provide my date of birth and not a single person said happy birthday...HOW RUDE! I then really wanted something new to wear so we headed to the mall, but all I found was a pretzel, which was actually really exciting for me because I had been craving one for like 4 months and finally I felt I could justify getting one! It's my birthday present to me!
After the mall, we met up for dinner with Bryce's cousin Cecilie and her husband, Scott, who was here interviewing with Intel. We decided to go to a yummy Italian place in Portland! It was very tasty and so much fun seeing them. After, we got doughnuts at Voodoo, which is just a perfect way to end a meal and celebrate my birthday!
PS February 9th also means we have been married for 8 months - so happy and in love.

If there is one time in your life that you are going to wear a pretzel, I guess your birthday would be the perfect time.
