After all the parties and family fun, we headed back to Oregon as Mr. & Mrs. Hanks! Bryce's car was quite the Mary Poppin's bag getting everything to fit. When we got back we had over 20 boxes waiting for us at the office!
It took me two car loads to get them all home and from there it was boxes and boxes of fun. We received so many gifts and combined with everything we brought from California, we could barely move around in our apartment. Seriously, such generous friends and family!
Eventually, we made our way through all the packages and gifts. It was so fun to have so many new things and to replace some of the old things I had from college or hand-me-downs from friends and family. Bryce was excited to make the apartment a little less girly, but I found it hard to change things too quickly. My apartment and I had been through a lot together the past year so it felt a little like saying good bye. I get so sentimental even though I try not to with material things.
