Bless You For Coming out in public!
The honeymoon was exactly what we needed after all the work and stress of wedding things. We flew out early Sunday morning on a direct flight to Cancun, Mexico. I was able to sleep quite a bit and so it didn't feel too long.
After we arrived, we took the shuttle to the hotel, which was about an hour drive. Luckily, the van had good A/C because it was hot and humid. So we got to the resort and was totally impressed! The room was was so big with yummy food that was much appreciated after eat just flight snacks all day.

Love Swans!

Monday, we experienced the breakfast buffet and it the pineapple syrup was my favorite part. After we went to the pool, which was HUGE!

It was a warm day and the water was slighlty refreshing so bring on the tan. We then made our way to the beach and decided to take a taxi to Playa del Carmen. The town wasn't very big, but the beaches were fun. We got into the water and played around for awhile. We then went to Walmart and got lots of food for the week.
Tuesday, we did more pool swimming and relaxing. We decided to go to fancy restaurant that night and I had the most incredible salmon. Bryce got yummy lamb!

Wednesday, we mixed things up with a fun trip on waverunners. We had a tour guide, which was kind of weird. But he took us to a beach and we swam around. When we got back to the resort, we jumped in the pool to join the water aerobic class. It was hilarious and quite the workout!

Thursday, we woke up bright and early for our big excursion. We took a ferry out to an island where we snorkeled and swam on sandy beaches. It was fun, but again very organized trip, so my heart felt a little rebellious! Luckily, it was still fun and I won't complain if I can be playing in the water!

On the ferry

Loving live being on the beach and getting some color!
One of my favorite parts of the whole trip was listening to Bryce speak spanish. I didn't understand much, but it was so cool that he could communicate with everyone.
Friday, we had to pretty much get up and pack. I was not ready to go back to reality especially since we had a layover in Houston for four hours.
