Snow Days

When I moved to Portland, I thought my snow days were over and I was quite happy about that. However, just this winter I think we have had 9 snow days or maybe even more. Why?! It hasn't actually snowed 9 days, but the snow comes and doesn't melt. Then there is the freezing rain, which is the worst! But the threat of snow or freezing rain is usually enough to shut down things.

There have been two good things though that have come from the snow - Bryce has been home more and Rhys is so cute playing in the snow.

My little snow bunny! He could have been out there all day!

I bought him mittens for Christmas, but the snow came early so he got them early. I love the excitement on his face!

I will say that with all the snow and ice, I am glad I don't have to go to work. Rhys and I can hang out at the house and go outside for just a little bit at a time. I am also glad we have an AWD vehicle that Bryce can drive.
