This past week was a little cooler and we even saw some rain. The week started out pretty normal, but got busy. Wednesday we had dinner with all the ward missionaries. The Berne's who served in the singles ward when Bryce and I went there and hosted our Oregon wedding reception, are the new ward mission leader. It was fun to be at their house again and enjoy a yummy dinner with everyone. Thursday we had friends over for dinner. The Merrill's just recently moved into the ward and have a cute little 5 month old girl. It was fun!
By Friday, the heat was back. I got off work early and took a nap. Then around 6PM, we met with the Bishopric to get new callings. Can't believe we were ward missionaries for two years already! After that we went out to dinner at Chevy's with our friend's, Natalie and Paul. I ate lots of chips and salsa because that is my favorite part of going to Chevy's! After dinner, we went over to Natalie and Paul's house and they introduced us to two new shows - Flip or Flop and Fixer Upper. It was very entertaining and made me want to buy a house and remodel it!
Saturday started with Bryce playing basketball and me sleeping in. Then I did some yoga and went to the gym. It went well because I found an episode of Fixer Upper on TV! I got home around lunch and decided to head to the pool to cool off. Unfortunately, it had water issues so it was closed so I got showered and dressed for the day. I hung out at home until Bryce got home from studying. Then we went to Lardo for dinner and ate pulled pork sandwiches. We then went to a food cart and got a banana & Nutella milkshake and a strawberry, cream cheese, and honey crepe. It was yummy! We were very full by the end and came home and watched an episode of Call the Midwife.
We were called to the Primary on Sunday. I will keep my CTR4 class and Bryce will teach the 11 year olds so not too much change. After church, we tried to stay cool. We took a nap and then went down to the river and enjoyed the breeze and watching the boats. We then went to the park by our house walked around the baseball fields. Grass is so much cooler! I then chatted with our neighbor for awhile learning about her craft project.
And now just have to survive one week of work and the Bar Exam before we head to Florida!
Good luck, Bryce! You guys have the best life! Have fun in Florida! Miss you Brittany!
