We had a great weekend for graduation! The weather was great, the food was tasty, and lots of family came to celebrate the end of law school. My parents and brother arrived Friday evening around 6PM. We met at the Nike employee store and had fun shopping. Then we went to a Hawaiian place close by called Roxy's for dinner. (I was a little nervous taking them there because my parents had just come back from Hawaii, but it did not disappoint!) After dinner, we came back to our place and chatted. Then Bryce left for the airport to pick up his family. We all ended up getting to bed much too late, but the party had started.
Saturday morning we got up and got ready. Bryce had to be at the school early so he got dropped off. Then everyone else met up at the school around 10:30AM. We had great seats so I took lots of pictures of Bryce. So proud!
Then the ceremony ended up being quite entertaining and I really enjoyed the main speaker. After that we took pictures with everyone and enjoyed the pretty campus.
Next, we all changed and went out for lunch at Pine Shed BBQ in Lake Oswego. And since the weather was so good, we ate outside.
After lunch, we went to our friend's house (our friends were kind enough to let us borrow their home while they were out of town) since our tiny apartment couldn't fit all 14 of us. Around 5PM, we headed downtown to see the rose gardens. It was so pretty and enough flowers were blooming to keep us happy.
We then took the caravan-ed over to Voodoo Doughnuts and ate so many delicious donuts! We were very happy that Rachael approved of the doughnuts since she is the pastry chef.
Sunday morning we got up and went to church. After we ate a quick lunch at our place then headed up the Gorge. We went to Multnomah Falls and then to the Vista House. So pretty!
We spend the remaining part of the day at our friend's house eating dinner and relaxing. It was especially nice to have a big enough table for everyone to sit around. Then Monday we hung out downtown. We ate lunch at Bollywood Theater and got ice cream at Salt & Straw! After we walked along the water front and enjoyed the beautiful Memorial Day. And now only a few more days until we are all back together in California for Greg's wedding!
