This year I was very excited to make Easter dinner. Bryce was very excited to wear his new blue dress shirt. I went to the store Saturday evening to get the supplies and I was apparently very hungry because I got a TON of food.
Easter morning, we got ready and went to church. Bryce and I got to be together for all three hours because it was fifth Sunday. There were very good talks and lessons given on the Savior!
After we came home and took pictures in our Easter outfits. We also enjoyed the beautiful day and wonderful spring blossoms!
We then got to dinner! I cooked the ham in the crockpot this year after seeing it on Pinterest. It was very tasty and tender. Then I made mashed potatoes with ham gravy, my favorite, with Asparagus and rolls! And don't forget the Martinelli!
Notice how nicely Bryce arranged the asparagus and we also had 8 pounds of ham!
After dinner, we went on a walk with the Bartholomew's. We then concluded the day with magic cake! I found the recipe on Pinterest and it is called magic cake because you make one batter and cooks into three layers! It isn't very hard and isn't very sweet and we love it!
Happy Easter!
So grateful for our Savior and Redeemer who died for each one of us, but more importantly, who rose three days later! He is the source of our happiness and peace.
You two do look a treat. And that meal was one also by the look of it. A great day was had by all. ◕‿◕
