The Good Things in the World

So even though it was a short week, it was another brutal week at work. I even started a list of what I should have appreciated at KPMG. All I can say is that raises and bonuses happen next month and I had better see a good portion of that 73% bonus pool. Anyways, Friday was so crazy that I didn't get to eat all day and didn't get home until 7pm. However, I came home to Bryce cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
He made Milanesas de Pollo (fried chicken) and it was delicious especially the breading! He made his own bread crumbs from the leftover French bread we had. I didn't even know that was possible!
After eating to our hearts content, we pretty much called it a night. My body was so achy from all the stress and long days at work and now that my body had food, it was sleep time!

Saturday, we woke up and went to the gym and then got ready and went to the temple. Between work and school, it was nice to focus on physical and spiritual things. We then had lunch and took a nap before running a few errands.

That night we then went to dinner at Pok Pok with some friends. It is a Thai type place, but not like normal Thai. We tried the pork shoulder curry, fish sauce wings, steak salad, fried tilapia fish, and curry crab legs. It was all very tasty, but quite a bit of work to actually eat the food.
After dinner, we went over to the University of Portland to watch the BYU basketball team. It wasn't much of a game, but there was a fight between the players that got a little exciting. Then it was probably 75% BYU fans so kind of awkward how loud we could cheer on our cougars!
GO BYU!
