'Tis The Season

On Friday, I didn't finish work until 7pm so when Bryce had a seafood place all picked out, I was game! The best part was as we were driving to dinner, we saw the Boat Parade!
All these boats decorated with Christmas lights go up and down the Willamette River and we caught it just perfectly. We stopped on the side of the road and watched, but we wanted a closer look so we drove down to the river where there were a bunch of houseboats. Unfortunately, it wasn't a better view of the boats, but all  my previous thoughts of how cool living in a houseboat were completely changed to how creepy! And one false step and you were going into that nasty river water probably never to be seen again.Anyways, dinner turned out great! We got a sampler of cod, catfish, oyster, and walleye. Bryce and I both liked the catfish. It had a chili-fried batter that was delicious.

Saturday, Bryce and I had a little Christmas Party with our neighbor girls where we decorated sugar trees. It was hilarious because they definitely ate lots of candy, but they also ate the frosting.
I made a tree too!
One more week until Christmas break!
