Because Oregon has the best weather in August, I love being outside on the weekends. So we got up on Saturday morning and headed to the Portland Markets. They have a farmers market and a Saturday Market. I love the farmers market with all the fresh foods and flowers. Plus, there is sampling! The Saturday Market has more arts and crafts along with lots of food! We decided to get lebanese food that was mighty tasty and came with lots of meat.
After the markets, we changed our clothes and went hiking up by the gorge. One was like a slot canyon to a waterfall, which had us climbing over logs and wading through water.
Bryce was my hero because he carried me when the water got chest high.
We made it the fall! It was so beautiful and really not that bad of a hike.
So Multnomah Falls were just down the road and since I had gone, we had to stop! It was beautiful, but very touristy.
